To me, our new branding, TC Transcontinental, launched on November 23, 2011, is one of the finest demonstrations of the evolution in our organization’s marketing activation offering in recent years. It represents our potential to work together as a team to bring an incredibly engaging and promising future to our customers, shareholders, employees and the community. Together, in each workplace, we have taken steps to become a leader in marketing communications in North America. Together we will now continue to grow with even greater scope on all platforms. |

The background to this launch also includes the November 1, 2011 announcement of the Corporation’s new operating structure, now grouped into two sectors: Media and Printing. This marks an important stage in the implementation of the Corporation’s business plan introduced in 2008 to strengthen the core and build new marketing services.
The launch of TC Transcontinental and the sector names
TC Media and TC Transcontinental Printing is a event in itself. It defines both a certainty and a decision. The certainty of moving forward to grow more effectively, and the decision to become more agile to better meet the multiplatform marketing communication needs of our customers as they strive to reach an increasingly fragmented audience. We are proud to offer our customers an integrated offering that is better than ever, and that now combines mass and one-to-one print products with content on state-of-the art media, digital and interactive platforms.
The new TC Transcontinental branding will give all of us new momentum and energy, as well as a shared commitment to step outside the box and deliver the best of both worlds to customers and employees by combining “the proven and the upcoming.” It’s a date with history … and it’s just the beginning!
