Environmental Policy

TC Transcontinental is firmly on the path of sustainable development. To improve its performance, the Corporation adopted an Environmental Policy [PDF] and procedures based on three guiding principles:

  1. Protect the environment for current and future generations

  2. Reduce risks and improve efficiency

  3. Introduce proven technologies and procedures

Initiatives

On the basis of these principles, TC Transcontinental took concrete steps to influence practices in its industry and continues to act in partnership with its customers, suppliers and environmental organizations.

In 2007, the Corporation introduced its Environmental Action Plan, which is based on the cumulative effect of the many “green” initiatives implemented at all levels of the organization by both employees and management. The INITIATIVES brochure, available online, summarizes the Corporation’s most significant achievements in environmental protection.

TC Transcontinental stands out as a company that respects the environment, as evidenced by the innovative and forward-looking actions in its business units.
