Transcontinental Inc. renewed its normal course issuer bid on April 17th, 2017. For the year ended October 29th, 2017, the Corporation purchased 2,663 of its Class A Subordinate Voting Shares at a weighted average price of $17.48, for a total negligible consideration. 

Fiscal 2016
Transcontinental Inc. renewed its normal course issuer bid on April 12th, 2016. For the year ended October 31st, 2016, the Corporation purchased 1,242,427 of its Class A Subordinate Voting Shares at a weighted average price of $17.33, for a total cash consideration of $21.5 million.

Fiscal 2015
Transcontinental Inc. renewed its normal course issuer bid on April 10th, 2015. For the year ended October 31st, 2015, the Corporation purchased 42,300 of its Class A Subordinate Voting Shares at a weighted average price of $15.59, for a total cash consideration of $0.7 million. 

Fiscal 2014
No share buyback in 2014. Transcontinental Inc. renewed its normal course issuer bid on April 15th, 2014. 

Fiscal 2013
Transcontinental Inc. put in place a normal course issuer bid on April 13th, 2012 and renewed it on April 15, 2013. In the year ended October 31st, 2013, the Corporation purchased 1,161,600 of its Class A Subordinate Voting Shares at a weighted average price of $9.98, for a total cash consideration of $11.6 million.

Fiscal 2012
Transcontinental Inc. put in place a normal course issuer bid on April 13th, 2012. For the year ended October 31st, 2012, the Corporation purchased 2,011,600 of its Class A Subordinate Voting Shares at a weighted average price of $8.86, for a total consideration of $17.8 million.

Fiscal 2008
For the year ended October 31, 2008, the Corporation purchased 2,894,100 of its Class A Subordinate Voting Shares at a weighted average price of $16.77 for a total consideration of $48.5 million and 8,000 of its Class B Shares at a weighted average price of $18.34 for a total consideration of $0.2 million. Of the total consideration of $48.7 million, $16.2 million corresponds to the book value and $32.5 million corresponds to the premium paid.

Fiscal 2007
For the year ended October 31, 2007, the Corporation purchased 2,354,700 of its Class A Subordinate Voting Shares at a weighted average price of $21.27 for a total consideration of $50.1 million and 137,800 of its Class B Shares at a weighted average price of $21.69 for a total consideration of $3.0 million. Of the total consideration of $53.1 million, $13.3 million corresponds to the book value and $39.8 million corresponds to the premium paid.

Fiscal 2006
For the year ended October 31, 2006, the Corporation purchased 2,895,300 of its Class A Subordinate Voting Shares at a weighted average price of $19.03 for a total consideration of $55.1 million and 639,651 of its Class B Shares at a weighted average price of $18.86 for a total consideration of $12.1 million. Of the total consideration of $67.2 million, $17.0 million corresponds to the book value and $50.2 million corresponds to the premium paid.
