A Unique Showcase on Sustainable Architecture
Montreal, April 17, 2013 – Constructo Group, a TC Media business unit, is pleased to announce the launch of the green architecture website, Projets verts – La vitrine de l'architecture durable au Québec. The site, which is linked to voirvert.ca, will showcase the environmental concepts and accomplishments of members of the Quebec architects' association, the Ordre des architectes du Québec (OAQ).
The site was developed in collaboration with the technical and sustainable building committee of the OAQ. Architect-members of the OAQ may use it to post information about their sustainable project designs, adding photos, a project summary, highlights, environmental features of the building, innovative solutions, and much more.
Architects now have a place where they can show key players in the construction industry, including owners and real estate developers, the sustainability strategies and features they have integrated into their projects design. The site gives them a unique way to present their often new and inventive efforts to improve sustainability.
"Sharing knowledge is vital to the advancement of green architecture in Quebec. That way, the best practices and innovative solutions developed by some architects can be publicized and taken up and applied by others. The new Projets verts – La vitrine de l'architecture durable au Québec website enriches the existing roster of Constructo Group print and electronic publishing products dedicated to sustainable building practices. The new platform is a complement to the magazine Voir vert, published since 2008; the voirvert.ca portal, online since 2010; and the annual issue on buildings, titled Bâtiment, published since 2001.
