TC Media sells its weekly papers on the Côte-Nord
MONTREAL, October 7, 2014 – TC Media announced today that it has sold the assets of its Côte-Nord papers Le Plein Jour de Baie-Comeau, Le Port-Cartois (Port-Cartier) and Le Nord-Est (Sept-Îles) to Gestion PJNE inc. The transaction covers the newspapers and their related Web properties.
Following its assessment of the market conditions and the short- and medium-term financial viability of these publications, TC Media accepted the offer from Gestion PJNE inc, which is owned by Simon Brisson.
